WCA/NH Scholarship Program

First Place: $2000 Scholarship, 1 year membership to WCA/NH 

Second Place: $1000 Scholarship 

Third Place: $500 Scholarship

Applications Open from  March 1, 2025 to March 31, 2025 

Grants Awarded April 15, 2025

The Women’s Caucus for Art NH is expanding our scholarship program for 2025.  We will offer three scholarships to NH residents who are self-identified women, attending a New
Hampshire college or university majoring in the visual arts. High school students may not apply. The scholarship for first place will be $2000 and includes a year-long membership to WCA and the opportunity to exhibit, for second place, $1000, and $500 for third place.  WCA wants to support women in art by helping them pay for their college tuition.  Applicants will apply to this program using artcall.org.  When submitting, you will need to supply the following:

Six pictures of pieces of recent work that are representative of you (size of each: 960px by 1920px)

An artist statement  (150 to 1000 characters)

A personal biography (150 to 1000 characters

Your home address

The name of the NH college or university which you are currently attending

Your major

Application for the scholarship program will begin on March 1, 2025, and close on March 31, 2025, at midnight. You can visit the WCANH website, https://www.wcanh.org/exhibit, for additional information and a link to ArtCall. WCA/NH will notify you of the scholarship awards by April 15, 2025.  At that point, the WCA NH will publish scholarship winners on our website and place articles in local newspapers and social media. The scholarship is payable to your school bursar’s office upon enrollment confirmation.

Judging process:
 Students submit art and the WCA/NH Board using a rubric will judge the applicants. .

ELIGIBILITY: You must be a woman-identified NH resident attending a NH college or university with a visual art major.
